Priority issues of Belarus for discussion at the UN General Assembly
Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei named priority areas for discussion at the UN General Assembly, Sputnik reported. May we remind you, it was decided Belarus to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Among the priorities, the Minister named the promotion of the principles of justice, equality and multilateralism, respect for the sovereignty of Member states, the inadmissibility of the use of unilateral coercive measures and sanctions in violation of the UN Charter.
The Minister highlighted that an important component of Belaurs' position at the General Assembly will be a call to oppose discriminatory practices in the UN on state grounds, the policy of "cancellation culture", exclusion of states from various international structures and non-issuance of visas to official representatives.
In addition, Belarus will concentrate its efforts on countering anti-Belarusian initiatives, as well as country mandates, will promote Chernobyl issues, the topic of strengthening coordination in efforts to combat human trafficking, and support for the normal family.
