Prototype of a sodium-based battery was created in Belarus

Scientists from the National Academy of Sciences have developed a prototype sodium-based battery that can become an alternative to expensive lithium batteries, BelTA reported.

When creating batteries, only Belarusian raw materials were used except sodium, ammonia and graphene. According to the representative of the NAS, this is the world's first working prototype of sodium batteries.

Let us remind you that in 2024, a Belarusian female cosmonaut will fly to the ISS.
