Reconstruction of Byenyakoni checkpoint will last until September

Work on the reconstruction of the Byenyakoni checkpoint on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border will last until September 1, 2022, Minsk-News writes. We remind you that citizens of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland can enter Belarus without a visa until the end of 2022.

The checkpoint continues to work, but the traffic has been partially changed. If possible, it is better to choose alternative routes.

Also at the checkpoint from August 1, customs officers will carry out functions of the border service bodies at the Byenyakoni road and railway checkpoints. Here they will check the documents of truck drivers, compulsory insurance contracts for vehicle owners, control over compliance with the rules of stay of foreigners and stateless persons, as well as the rules of transit travel.
