Rules for teachers will appear in schools of Belarus

Rules for teaching staff were approved by the Minister of Education of Belarus to increase both the prestige and status of the profession. The rules will also help participants of the educational process to interact more effectively, Minsk-News reports.

Starting September 2022, teaching staff in Belarus must:

  1. Implement state policy in the field of education.
  2. To build work on the basis of unconditional mutual respect for the dignity of students, their legal representatives, colleagues.
  3. Perform professional duties conscientiously and efficiently. Constantly improve their professionalism.
  4. To form students' spiritual and moral values, citizenship, patriotism, the desire for a healthy lifestyle.
  5. Be honest, sincere, fair and open to communication.
  6. Show kindness, politeness and tact. Avoid conflicts in relationships.
  7. Within the framework of the legislation, to keep the secret of personally trusted information.
  8. Contribute to the creation of positive relationships in the student team and the teaching staff.
  9. Observe ethical principles and norms in the media space.
  10. Their appearance, behavior, and culture of communication should correspond to the status of a teaching worker.
