Salaries in agriculture increased by 25%

From January to February 2023, salaries in agriculture increased by more than 25% across Belarus, BelTA reported.

In January and February, wages in agriculture were raised by 25.6%. The Deputy Prime Minister explained that during this period, revenue from agriculture increased by 26%. Accordingly, the wage fund has grown. At the same time, salaries in agriculture lag behind the average salary in Belarus.

In the first quarter of this year, Belarus’ GDP decreased by 2%. Despite this, industrial production is growing in Belarus.
