Sber Bank introduced currency restrictions

ATMs of the Belarusian Sber Bank no longer accept cash in foreign currency (US dollars, euros), the bank's website reported.

Adding US dollars and euros cash to the bank's cards has also been suspended. The reasons for the restrictions were not disclosed by the bank.

In January, the average salary in Belarus decreased by almost 100 US dollars.
