Sberbank showed new head office in Minsk

A new headquarters of Sberbank has opened in the center of Minsk. It was named the prototype of the bank of the future, Minsk-News reported. A new building of the Belarusian State University has recently opened.

Construction of the building began in 2011. According to the plan, there was supposed to be a hotel here, but the work was frozen. Construction resumed after Sberbank bought the project.

According to the bank's representatives, modern architectural and spatial solutions are presented in the building. For example, there is an open office space with a variety of rooms for collective and individual work: from coworking and common areas to quiet concentration rooms. The architects have worked on the adjacent territory: there is a multimedia fountain and exotic trees are planted here.

The headquarters occupies 9 floors and accommodates 1,000 jobs. Each floor of the headquarters of Sberbank has its own color scheme inspired by various ecosystems and remarkable natural objects of Belarus — from glacial lakes and swamps to the famous chalk quarries.
