Scientists from Belarus and Russia may develop electric car

One of the promising areas of cooperation between Belarusian and Russian scientists is the developing of energy storage devices for electric transport, BELTA writes. A meeting with Russian scientists was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. During the meeting, the possibility of phased localization of energy storage systems production in Belarus was discussed.

The management of the Russian company was acquainted with the developments of Belarusian scientists in the field of graphite materials, sodium-ion batteries. They also discussed issues of protection from electromagnetic radiation, battery recycling and heat removal technologies. The parties plan to develop cooperation in this direction.

Belarus and Russia will also develop cooperation in low-carbon energy.
