Сocoa bean processing plant will be built in Minsk

Minsk has developed a project of a full-cycle plant for processing cocoa beans with online digital  quality control systems, Minsk-News reported. The public discussion of the project will last until December 12.

The plant will be built on the basis of the Kommunarka confectionery factory. According to the project, it is necessary to build warehouses for cocoa beans, raw materials and packaging materials, finished products, as well as a building with production workshops. The complex will occupy an area of 11.65 hectares.

The new plant will meet the demand for cocoa products on the Belarusian market and increase exports, as well as complete replacement of imported cocoa semi-finished products. Now Belarusian confectionery factories are forced to import such raw materials from EU countries.
