Sowing campaign to be finished by May 1 in Belarus

The Minister of Agriculture of Belarus said that the sowing campaign is planned to be completed by May 1, BelTA reported.

In recent days, the weather and air temperature in Belarus have been good, which make it possible to speed up all field work.

Sowing has already been completed in the Brest, Grodno and Minsk regions. In the rest, it is planned to complete the sowing campaign by May 1.

Belarus plans to plant 32 thousand hectares or 320 square kilometers of forest this year. This area is almost equal to the area of Minsk.
