The UN Children's Fund and Belarusian rescuers signed a memorandum
The UN Children's Fund has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Belarusian rescue agency to strengthen cooperation on child safety, Sputnik reported.
In addition to preventing child injuries, Belarusian rescuers will also work to prevent the death of children in fires and improve the level of training of rescuers for emergency prevention.
UNICEF will also strengthen the material and technical base of the safety centers for the education of children. The Foundation has already handed over emergency response equipment and equipment to the Ministry. In particular, this property can be used to accept refugees.
The UN Refugee Division has also strengthened cooperation with Belarus.
