The wage fund will grow by 16% at the beginning of 2023

The Minister of Finance of Belarus said that it is planned to increase salaries by growing the state's wage fund in 2023, Minsk-News reported.

From January 2023, the wage fund will be increased by 16% at the expense of the state budget. Thanks to this, the minimum wage will increase from January 1. In addition, the minister said that the government is preparing several plans for further rate increases.

According to Decree No. 411, which was signed at the end of November, the nominal accrued average monthly salary will increase from January to 1,938 Belarusian rubles.
