The World Taekwondo Federation allowed Belarusians to participate in tournaments

The World Taekwondo Federation has allowed Belarusian and Russian athletes to participate in international tournaments in a neutral status, Sputnik reported.

This decision was made at an emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of the World Federation. The permit will come into effect during the Men's and Women's World Championships in Baku in 2023.

Last week, the head of the International Olympic Committee also called for the participation of Belarusian athletes in international competitions in a neutral status.
