Tolochinsky cannery produces 2 tons of French fries in 1 hour

Efficiency  of the new French fries production line of the Tolochinsky cannery is 2 tons of finished product per hour, BELTA writes.

They will be able to produce from 3.5 thousand tons of French fries per year, and when they reach full capacity, the annual productivity will increase to 10 thousand tons.

Belarusian potato varieties bred with the participation of specialists of the National Academy of Sciences are used for the production of semi-finished potato. Before packing, french fries are subjected to shock freezing. After purchase, it can be fried in a deep fryer or in a frying pan for a few minutes.

To reduce production waste, starch is made from potato residues.
