What changes are proposed to be made to the Labor Code of Belarus?
Yesterday we wrote that Belarus is working on changes to labor laws. One of the changes is the official combination of office and remote work. Other changes are also being considered, CityDog.io writes.
The authorities are considering the possibility of giving days off with salary preservation for family and household reasons: wedding, funeral, birth of a child and other valid reasons.
They also want to add a new law that will allow employees to take one paid day for medical examination (1 day in 3 years).
The document contains a proposal to oblige employers to pay salaries to employees at least twice a month.
For those who work in harmful and dangerous industries, they plan to replace the delivery of milk and other food products with monetary compensation.
In addition, employers may be oblige to give a 30-day paid leave for an employee to write a dissertation for the degree of doctor of sciences.
