Which banknotes of Belarusian rubles are counterfeited most often?

In the first three months of 2022, Belarusian bank employees identified 140 counterfeit banknotes. These were mainly US dollars (70%) and Russian rubles (22%), CityDog.io writes.

Fake euros were found in amount of 4%, fake Belarusian rubles — 3%. The majority (45.7%) of counterfeit banknotes were found in Minsk, and in general, counterfeit banknotes were seized in 30 localities.

Among the counterfeit US dollars, $100 and $50 banknotes were most often found, and among the fake Russian rubles – RUB 5000, 2000 and 1000. Among the counterfeit Belarusian rubles, banknotes of the sample of 2009 in denominations of BYN 50, 20 and 10 were most often found.
