Belarus extended ban on import from some countries
Since January 1, 2022, a food embargo on goods from some countries has been imposed in Belarus for 6 months. The ban was extended again, CityDog.io writes.
The ban applies to EU countries, the USA, Canada, Norway, Albania, Iceland, Northern Macedonia, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Montenegro, Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and Serbia.
The ban applies to the import of live pigs, various types of meat, dairy products, vegetables, fruits, nuts, confectionery and other food products.
At the same time, the ban does not apply to goods imported for personal use and intended for baby food.
Recently, new minimum prices for the export of dairy and meat products from Belarus have been set since June 21.
Belarus will also cooperate with Iran in the field of food safety and the development of biopesticides.
