Belarusian athletes are again allowed to international competitions

International federations continue to lift sanctions against Belarusian athletes, listening to the recommendations of the IOC. The International Union of Modern Pentathlon has also allowed Belarusian athletes to participate in competitions, Sputnik reported.

The International Union of Modern Pentathlon plans to create an independent commission in the near future to "verify the fitness of athletes" based on criteria to be established in cooperation with the IOC.

The actual timing of the return of Belarusian athletes to international competitions is not yet known.

Minsk will host competitions in seven sports of the II CIS Games.
