Environmentalists will hold an event on safe outdoor recreation
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, together with public environmentalists, will hold an environmental campaign "Rest without harm to nature" from July 8 to August 8, Minsk-News reports. Recently we wrote that June of this year has become abnormally hot for Belarus
During the months, state environmental inspectors will actively monitor the behavior of visitors to recreation areas and nature reserves, as well as fishermen. Inspectors will explain how not to harm nature during the rest.
In order not to harm the environment, the Ministry of Natural Resources recommends resting in specially equipped places and following a few simple rules:
- During the rest, park the car in special places and no closer than 30 meters from the coastline. It is also forbidden to wash cars near reservoirs.
- It is prohibited to damage the living soil cover with machine protectors.
- It is prohibited to build bonfires in forbidden places. It is better to use a barbecue.
- It is impossible to cut down and destroy vegetation. You need to bring firewood and coals with you.
- It is forbidden to harm plants and animals, which are also forbidden to take away.
- It is forbidden to touch anthills, nests, burrows and other animal dwellings.
- Be sure to clean up the garbage after yourself.
We remind you that there is an online map of forests prohibited for visiting in Belarus.
