Forum of Belarus and Russia Regions started in Grodno

On June 30, the IX Forum of Belarus and Russia Regions began in Grodno. Its slogan is "The role of interregional cooperation in deepening the integration processes of the Union State," BELTA writes. The forum will last two days.

It is expected that the forum participants will sign agreements worth more than $1 billion. There are 28 contracts pending. On the first day, representatives of Belarusian and Russian businesses will sign 11 documents.

The main topics of the forum will be import substitution and trade turnover between the countries, the sustainability of the real sector of the economy, the provision of food for both countries, the expansion of scientific and technical cooperation.
