From August 1, living wage will be increased

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has established new living wage sizes for the period from August 1 to October 31, 2022, the portal pravo.by writes. Many social allowances depend on the living wage.

Now the minimum living wage will be Br328.5 (previously — Br311.15). The following social benefits will increase by at least 5.6%:

  • child allowances;
  • social pensions;
  • allowances for the care of the disabled or for a person who has reached the age of 80.
