Inflation is forecast to slow down in Belarus

Experts of the Eurasian Development Bank said that inflation in Belarus will slow down until the end of this year, Sputnik reported. Let us remind you that the share of the IT sector in Belarus' GDP is 7%.

In October, the growth of the consumer price index slowed down and fell by 1% compared to September. EDB analysts believe that the ban on price increases contributed to the October decline.

In this regard, experts predict a further slowdown in inflation by the end of this year. At the same time, there is a big risk that prices will rise significantly in the future. According to the Prime Minister of Belarus, in 2023, inflation will reach to 7%-8%.
