Skateboarders from Belarus allowed to participate in international tournaments

Skateboarding competitions were included in the Olympic Games program only in 2021, but Belarusian athletes did not participate in them. Now Belarusian and skaters will be allowed to compete at the international level, Sputnik reported.

This decision was made by the executive committee of the International World Skate Federation on Wednesday, April 12. The organization supported the recommendations of the IOC on the return of Belarusian athletes to international tournaments.

World Skate supports the return of independent neutral athletes with Russian passports. Potential dates will be discussed at the next meetings of the World Skate Executive Committee.

The World Taekwondo Federation allowed Belarusians to participate in tournaments.
