The training of the Belarusian astronaut will begin in February

The preparation of the Belarusian cosmonaut for the flight to the ISS will begin in February, BelTA reported.

Six Belarusian applicants for the flight will begin training in Russia, after which one cosmonaut will be selected. The flight to the ISS is scheduled for autumn. At the same time, it has recently become known that the flight may be postponed.

Reminder, that the National Academy of Sciences decided that the first Belarusian cosmonaut will be a woman.
