What vaccines against COVID-19 are used in Belarus?

Since August 8, vaccination of children aged 5+ years from covid has been allowed in Belarus. In this regard, the Ministry of Health has updated the rules for vaccination, Minsk-News reported.

Two doses of Sinopharm should be used for primary vaccination of children aged 5-17 years. For adults, the full course should consist of one dose of Sputnik Lite, two doses of the Russian vaccine Gam-Covid-Vak or Chinese Sinopharm.

Booster shots are allowed from the age of 18. One dose of Sputnik Lite or Gum-Covid-Vac, regardless of the previous drug, should be used.

We remind you that the first case of the "omicron-ninja" strain has been confirmed in Minsk.
