The oldest school in Minsk is being closed for major repairs
The school was built in 1936 according to the architect's project of Gerasim Yakushko. During the Second World War, the school burned down, but the walls remained. The building was restored in 1947, and in the late 1970s the school had a six-story extension with a large gym and classrooms.
