The European Union has approved the introduction of sanctions against 40 officials in Belarus. Alexander Lukashenko was not included in this list.
The annual international forum TEART will be held in Minsk from the 2nd till the 24th of October. This year the jubilee season of the festival will take place in the OK16 space.
On the 2nd of October in the cultural center "Korpus" a concert-study of the musical project "Street of the World" will take place. Tickets are already on sale.
On the 1st of October, the music concert "Autumn Open Air" will take place at the DVOR site. Within the framework of the open festival, film-strips will be shown, as well as the presentation of the musical album "Trulyalyushkii".
Hops brewery has agreed to cooperate with the Danish beer brand Mikkeller. One of the Mikkeller beers will be produced according to the brand's recipe and standards. The brewery decided to start with a New England-style IPA.
On the 4th of October, an event in support of homeless animals will take place in Minsk. The event will take place in the Hide center (Oktyabrskaya st. 19/4) from 13.00 to 18.00.
On the 1st of October, the official opening of the 83rd season will take place at the Philharmonic in Minsk. On the occasion of the opening, as well as in honour of the International Day of Music, a gala concert will take place.
Belarusian writer is nominated for a prestigious cultural award in Denmark
Belarusian writer Svetlana Aleksievich was nominated for the highest award of Denmark in the field of culture and art Sonning Prize. Svetlana Aleksievich is also a Nobel laureate.
